Jamie Cameron's Checklist

Jamie Cameon, owner of Denebola No. 60, has produced this useful checklist which will be of value to other boat owners:

"Did I turn the gas off?"

"Did anyone lock the forehatch?"

That sinking feeling when you are halfway home on a Sunday evening and you can't quite remember whether you left your boat properly secured.

At times we all forget things but a checklist will help to minimise the risk. I've attached my own personal version which you can download and adapt to your own preference. If you sail alone then you have to do it all...but do make sure that everyone knows which jobs are theirs.

If you have suggestions for improvements please contact Jamie through jgcameron@hotmail.com

Jamie can also send you a word version of the table below on request. This will allow you to customise it for your own use!
