About the Stella Class Association
About Us
Over one hundred Stella Yachts were built in the 1960's. Many are still in good shape and can be found all around the UK coast and some abroad, although most are found on the East coast where they were originally built and sailed. The Stella is known for its prowess as a fast river and sea going boat, and many Association members regularly sail along the East coast to meet for racing and cruising events based on the East coast's rivers.

The Association has been revived in recent years and is strongly supported by a growing number of enthusiastic Stella owners, crew and interested sailing folk who's aim is to look after and further the interests of the Stella Class. The Association organises sailing and social events throughout the year and keeps its members informed through a newsletter, reporting on past events, future plans with a 'goldmine' of interesting articles and chat.
